How to make waffles with our Fiddle Cake mix.
First measure out your ingredients: 1 heaping cup of mixture, 1 cup water or juice and 1 tbsp. oil. You should end up with a fairly thick batter.
Make sure your waffle iron is very hot, pour in the mix and leave to cook for a few minutes. As there is very little fat in these waffles they do tend to stick. You’ll need to grease the iron well before you start and don’t open it until you’re sure they’re cooked otherwise they tend to fall apart.
Serve sweet with berries and maple syrup or savory with Mexican style beans and salsa (as the waffles are corn based they suit this style of cooking very well)
