2011.03.14 Shipping and Cafe Service
2011/04/01 UPDATE: Tengu is now up and running as normal. There are still a few power cuts which might mean the phones are down but we will ship out orders as usual. Our delivery companies are now able to deliver to Tohoku, though there are still some areas that are inaccessible. For more details please don’t hesitate to call. For the month of April we will be accepting donations for Second Harvest Japan, who are doing a tremendous job getting food to the people who need it most.
2011/03/18 UPDATE: Tengu is still trying to ship out as many orders as possible but we are severely hampered by the power cuts and the lack of petrol. The same is also true of some of our suppliers and the delivery companies. We will continue to open as often as we can to ensure delivery of your order. Please be aware that delivery times will be much longer than usual, with orders to Hokkaido taking up to 10 days.
We send our sympathies to anyone affected by the earthquakes on Friday. If you are in need of food and the delivery company can get through we will do our best to help. We are in area 2 for the electricity cuts so both Tengu and the cafe will be closed during these times. If you would like to visit the cafe please call before you set out to check opening times. Gasoline is also in short supply in this area but at the time of writing the delivery companies were still running. We will keep you posted as the situation changes.
