The first batch of donations from our US suppliers arrived today. This is flour from Guisto’s, bound for Tohoku via Second Harvest Japan. Some of this will go towards a bakery that has been set up by the Chabad-Lubavitch of Japan alongside Sendai’s Arpajan Bakery. This organization is doing great work to bring cooked food to those worst hit by the disaster. They even have a yakimo truck driving round. You can read more about them here.
