Beat the Frizz

As a sufferer of frizzy hair once the rainy season starts I’m always on the lookout for a natural solution. Last year I discovered the wonders of vinegar. It works. Yes, you’ll smell like a pickle while your hair is still wet but I promise the smell is completely gone once your hair is dry. You need to add a slosh (a couple of tablespoons?) to a large cup of water and use as a final rinse. You’ll get curls, not frizz. It’s wonderful. My discovery this year is shea butter. You can pick up 100% shea butter in most health food stores and quite a few drug stores. You only need the tiniest amount on the tips of your hair. It helps your hair’s condition in the summer heat and stops fly-away hair. Try it!
