Inka Jelly

An easy to make, caffeine-free alternative to coffee jelly.

RIMG4819

<Ingredients>

  • 4 Tbsp inka
  • 2 cps water
  • 2 heaped tsp kanten flakes (this makes a soft jelly. Feel free to increase the amounts for a firmer jelly)
  • maple syrup and soymilk to taste

<Method>

  1. Heat water, inka and kanten in a small pan and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring well. Take care the kanten doesn’t set to the outside of the pan.
  2. Remove from heat, pour into serving glasses and leave to cool.
  3. Once set pour on soymilk and/or maple syrup to taste.
