Larabar may have pulled out of Japan but there are a whole host of bars ready to take their place of equal, if not better quality than that beloved bar. We’ve already brought you the Nakd bar from UK-based Natural Balance, the nudy bar being a smaller, less chunky version of the Larabar, with heavenly cocoa orange and cocoa mint varieties. Now we’re introducing RawBite, a new bar from Denmark, made by a company which used to produce Larabar and whose packaging has a spooky resemblance to their former product. These bars have larger chunks of nuts and a more substantial feel than the nudy bars, but still follow the basic recipe of nuts and dates. The spicy lime flavour even has chili peppers added for an extra kick. If you’re out and about this winter these are the perfect snack to throw in your backpack. It’s even be chosen as the only bar to be included in the Danish Defense field rations. If it’s good enough for the Danish army it’s got to be good!
